Harit Mithila Campaign
Transforming Mithila's landscape through massive afforestation drives.
Since its launch in 2020, the Harit Mithila Campaign has become the cornerstone of HE-MAA Trust's environmental conservation efforts. The campaign focuses on restoring green cover across the Mithila region through strategic plantation drives involving local communities, schools, and government bodies.
Rural Enterprise Development
Empowering rural entrepreneurs to build sustainable livelihoods.
In strategic collaboration with SIDBI, this program provides comprehensive support to rural micro-enterprises including training, mentoring, market linkage, and access to credit. Special focus is given to women-led enterprises and youth entrepreneurship.
Organic Farming Awareness
Promoting sustainable agriculture for healthier crops and environment.
Partnering with the Bihar Agriculture Department, this program trains farmers in organic farming techniques, vermicomposting, natural pest management, and certification processes. The goal is to reduce chemical dependency and increase farm profitability.
Jal Sanchay Project
Reviving traditional water bodies for sustainable water management.
The Jal Sanchay Project focuses on rejuvenation of ponds, construction of check dams, and promotion of rainwater harvesting techniques. This initiative addresses water scarcity issues in drought-prone blocks of Samastipur and surrounding districts.
Nari Shakti - Women Empowerment
Creating sustainable livelihoods through skill development and entrepreneurship.
This program focuses on empowering rural women through skill training, self-help group formation, financial literacy, and leadership development. Over 35% of HE-MAA Trust's beneficiaries are women who have started their own enterprises.
FPO Capacity Building
Strengthening farmer collectives for better market access.
This program provides technical and managerial support to Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in organic agriculture. Services include governance training, bookkeeping, market linkage, certification assistance, and value chain development.
